Welcome to IVology. By accessing and using our website, services, or visiting our clinic, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Please read them carefully before engaging with our offerings.

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of IVology Wellness (Pty) Ltd's website, premises, mobile services, staff consultations, IV infusion treatments, injections, wellness programs, and any other related services or offerings ("Services"). By engaging with IVology, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using any of our Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or possess legal consent from a parent or guardian, to use our Services. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally competent to enter into a binding agreement.

Medical Disclaimer

IV therapy is elective and are not intended to replace any primary medical care or emergency interventions.
All therapies are provided only after a pre-screening consultation by a qualified health professional to determine suitability.
You are required to disclose all relevant medical history, known allergies, medications, underlying conditions, or contraindications before receiving any treatment.
In the case of non-disclosure or inaccurate information, IVology shall not be held liable for adverse outcomes.
Services are not suitable for individuals with specific medical conditions including, but not limited to: uncontrolled hypertension, congestive heart failure, renal insufficiency, or known allergies to any component of the treatment.

Informed Consent

By proceeding with any treatment, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the risks, benefits, alternatives, and potential side effects.
You have the right to decline or discontinue treatment at any time.
A signed informed consent form is mandatory before administration of any IV therapy.

Booking and Cancellations

Appointments may be booked online, via telephone, or in-person and require confirmation.
A minimum of 6 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling without penalty.

Payments and Pricing

All prices are listed in South African Rands (ZAR) and include VAT.
Full payment is due before or at the time of the appointment.
We accept EFT, debit/credit card payments, and valid IVology vouchers.
Prices and promotional offers are subject to change without notice.

Contraindications and Refusals

IVology reserves the right to refuse treatment to any client deemed unfit for the procedure.
Treatments may be withheld or stopped at any time for medical or safety reasons.

Side Effects and Emergencies

Mild side effects such as bruising, discomfort and dizziness can occur.
In rare cases, serious reactions may develop. Emergency protocols are in place, and emergency medical services will be called if required.
By agreeing to treatment, you accept that IVology is not responsible for outcomes that arise due to inherent or undisclosed medical risks.

Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IVology, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or damages arising from the use or misuse of our Services.
Our liability is limited to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IVology, its staff, and partners from

any claims, legal actions, costs, or damages arising out of:

Your use or misuse of Services;
Your breach of these Terms;
Any false, misleading, or incomplete information provided by you;
Failure to follow post-treatment instructions.

Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).
Information collected will be used strictly for medical, administrative, and communication purposes.

User Conduct You agree not to:

Disrupt or interfere with service provision or website functionality;
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another individual;
Harass or abuse our staff or other clients;
Post or transmit any unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

Intellectual Property

All content including text, graphics, logos, images, video, and branding remain the exclusive property of IVology Wellness (Pty) Ltd. Unauthorised copying, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

Termination of Services

IVology reserves the right to terminate or restrict your access to Services for violation of these Terms or if your behaviour poses a risk to staff, clients, or operations.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, clients are encouraged to contact management directly to seek resolution.
If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved via arbitration in accordance with South African law. Arbitration proceedings shall be held in KwaZulu-Natal and conducted in English.

Modifications to Terms

IVology reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and effective immediately. Continued use of Services indicates acceptance of changes.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal matters shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
